• Mergent Online
  • Continues Moody's FIS/Online. Provides current and historical financial information on 15,000 U.S. public companies and 20,000 international companies. Includes ratios.
• Mergent WebReports
  • Archive of corporate and industry related documents, with 180,000+ documents covering 100 countries and industries. Includes Argus Mergent Research Reports, SEC Edgar filings (1994- present), corporate reports for 30,000 companies worldwide, and industry analyses.
• Standard & Poor's Net Advantage
  • Investment and financial information on thousands of publicly owned companies; bonds and dividend listings; detailed industry analyses.
• Standard & Poor's Research Insight (Compustat)
  • Research Insight is a Windows front-end to Compustat data. Contains up to 20 years of annual data and up to 12 years of quarterly data for over 11,000 active U.S. and Canadian companies. Users may select companies based on screening criteria, create custom variables, and generate reports in Excel. (UNR NetID required)
• ReferenceUSA
  • A directory of more than 11 Million US Businesses. Search by company name or SIC code and limit by location or company size.

• Global Market Information Database
  • For over 200 countries, demographic and economic statistics, including consumer lifestyles, and retailing. 1977(earliest date of some tables)- present. Market analysis reports for over 350 markets for the last five years. Tables may be opened and saved in Excel.
• Mergent WebReports

• Mintel Reports

• Standard & Poor's Net Advantage
  • Select Industry Surveys for detailed industry analyses.
• STAT-USA
  • A database of current and historical U.S. economic data and international trade information. Produced by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• USA Trade Online
  • Monetary value of imports and exports to and from the U.S. by 2-10 digit Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HS) commodity codes, trading partner country, or customs port. Limited data for quantity of imports & exports. Print or download data tables. Data covers 1994 through current statistical month.

• CCH Tax Research Network
  • Text of current laws, regulations, and news on federal and states (all states) taxes.

Accounting Literature

• FASB Accounting Standards Codification
  • The single source of authoritative, nongovernmental U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Available only to UNR students enrolled in Accounting courses and faculty and staff in the Accounting department. Contact the UNR Accounting Department at 682-9124 for log-in information.
• Governmental Accounting Research System (GARS)
  • Provides access to governmental accounting literature. Updated twice a year. Important! UNR’s license for GARS allows only one user at a time. (UNR NetID required)

• ECO - Electronic Collections Online (Electronic Journals)
  • Indexes 5,400+ scholarly journals in a wide range of subjects. Abstracts and full-text are available for approximately 400 journals to which UNR subscribes. To limit results to these journals, check the "full-text" box. 1995- present.
