• CINAHL (EBSCOHost)
  • Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature is the most comprehensive index available for nursing and related fields. 1982 - present. • PubMed - Medline
  • Index to 4,800+ journals in medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. Most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. Produced by the National Library of Medicine.
• AgeLine
  • Index to materials on social gerontology, including health care and other aging issues. Produced by AARP. 1978 - present.
• Kinesiology Publications
  • Non-profit site archives and disseminates graduate research studies in microfiche and electronic format. Areas of study include health, physical education, and recreation, exercise and sport sciences, sport history and philosophy, and dance. Searching is open-access, but UNR does not have a subscription to the collection.
• Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database
  • Provides encyclopedic access to information on natural medicines. Includes mechanism of action, safety, and therapeutic use, as well as citations to research studies.
• LexisNexis Academic: Medical
  • Cover-to-cover full text from some sources and selective coverage from others.
• Biosis Previews
  • Online version of Biological Abstracts® and Biological Abstracts/RRM® (Reports, Reviews, and Meetings). References and abstracts of the literature from all areas of biology, including biochemical, cellular, molecular, ecological and environmental. 1969 - present.

• ECO - Electronic Collections Online (Electronic Journals)
  • Indexes 5,400+ scholarly journals in a wide range of subjects. Abstracts and full-text are available for approximately 400 journals to which UNR subscribes. To limit results to these journals, check the "full-text" box. 1995- present.

• Dissertations & Theses: Full Text (formerly Dissertation Abstracts)
  • ProQuest Dissertations and Theses — Full text is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. It includes 2.4 million dissertation and theses citations from around the world from 1861 to the present day together with 1 million full-text dissertations that are available for download in PDF format. The database offers full text for most of the dissertations added since 1997 and strong retrospective full-text coverage for older graduate works.
