UNR Library Catalog
The UNR Libraries provide two interfaces for searching the contents of our catalog (and the catalogs of Desert Research Institute, Great Basin College, and Western Nevada College):
- Encore (below), which presents a simple keyword search with the ability to filter your results through "facets", such as location, language, and material type (please see our F.A.Q. for more about Encore).
- Classic Catalog (also known as WebPAC), which is better suited to advanced searching; i.e., when you wish to search a specific field in our catalog records or specify a number of parameters.
Additionally, you will find links here to the Link+ catalog (regional) and WorldCat (national), either of which you may use to discover books or other materials not in the collections of the UNR Libraries.
