Information about the UNR Libraries
The UNR Libraries comprise four physical locations, each containing a distinct subset of the total collection.
- The Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center houses the General Collection and Multimedia (DVDs, CDs, VHS, etc.), as well as the Special Collections department, which includes, amongst other things, a wealth of local, historical records.
- The Basque Library, which is adjoined to the main library in the Knowledge Center, but can only be entered through the 3rd Floor North Entrance. It is considered to be the leading library on Basque topics anywhere outside of the Basque Country.
- The DeLaMare Library, located in the Mackay Mines Building at the north end of the Quad, and housing materials supporting many of the sciences--particularly mining engineering--as well as the extensive Ansari Map Library.
- The Savitt Medical Library.
