Ansari Map Library. Over 135,000 maps are available in the Map Library in the DeLaMare Library on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. This site also contains many links to online maps.
Columbia Gazetteer of the World. (UNR users only) A database of geographical names, descriptions, and characteristics of over 165,000 places in the world. Search by place-name, type of place, or keyword.
Google Maps Search anywhere in the U.S. by location and business. "Get directions" feature plots the route from your start spot to the chosen destination. Google's draggable maps mean no reload wait.

Time and Date.Com. Find out what time it is in other parts of the world. Also has calendars and date calculators, for example, "what will the date be in 500 days?"
Official U.S. Time. Find the time for all the time zones in the United States and its possessions. Available from the National Insitiute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. Naval Observatory.
