Johnson-Jeffries Fight: Fight Day at the Gate
"On the day of the fight special trains converged on Reno (preventing any rail departures) and extra streetcars were put on the line that extended out Fourth Street. Much of the throng of spectators arrived on foot or in automobiles. Newsmen sharpened their pencils, and cameramen, perched on a special platform at the arena’s west end, prepared to record the momentous event for posterity."
