The costumes from Karen Burns’s MGM collection add sizzle, glamour, sexiness, beauty, nostalgia, and pure pizzazz to the “Art of Gaming +.” In 1978, Reno’s MGM “Hello Hollywood Hello” extravaganza was known as the biggest show in the world performed on the biggest stage in the world, and dancer Karen Burns was part of the action. Her career as a chorus dancer at the MGM led her down a different sort of career path. She was given the extraordinary opportunity to acquire almost the entire collection of costumes, 1,392 of them, from the show. Her MGM collection is one of the largest private collections of authentic, vintage, museum-quality stage show costumes in the world.
