in Northern Nevada
After World War II, a group of local artists experimented with art and lifestyles that were out of Nevada’s mainstream. This exhibit features surprising abstract works of well-known local artists including Craig Sheppard, Robert Hartman and Robert Caples, along with stunning works of less well-known artists such as Adine Stix and Zoray Andrus. Photographs by Gus Bundy, along with papers and memorabilia from Special Collections provide insights into this fascinating and influential arts community.
