How to Place Items on Course Reserve

First, navigate to the library home page and click on Course Reserves.

From that page (pictured right), you can click Log In to Ares. The Online Request Form will also lead you to the Ares logon page.

Login to Ares with your NetID and password. First, identify yourself as an instructor. Then complete the information form. We will verify your status within several hours (Mon. – Fri., 8 – 5) and email you with instructions on how to submit requests.

Once we have verified your status, you can login to Ares and place reserve requests.

First click Create a New Class. Enter the course information, and submit the form.

Once you have completed that step, click Add Reserve Items.

Select the appropriate icon. And fill out the respective form. Continue doing so for all the items you’d like to place on reserve.

Once you have completed these steps, simply logoff. The library will take care of the rest!
