Software & Computer Labs

Installed to Knowledge Center Computers

The Knowledge Center contains two specialized computer labs:

  • Dynamic Media Lab
    • Powerful Mac computers for producing high quality multimedia projects. Software includes the Final Cut Production Bundle, the Adobe Master Collection, iMovie, iDVD, and much more.
  • DataWorks Lab
    • Productivity software supporting the gamut of statistics, visualization, and scientific disciplines. Software includes ArcGIS, Matlab, AutoCAD, Minitab, SPSS, and much more.

Software Box on HomepageIn addition, on all computers in @One, you will find Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, and other products as listed on the @One home page. Look for a box similar to the image at left.

Remote Access

Many productivity software products are available remotely through the UNR Citrix server. The programs run on campus hardware, but by signing in with your NetID, you can launch an instance of these applications from anywhere in the world.

Software Training

Safari Books Online is another valuable source for mastering a variety of software and programming languages.
